How to Write a Reply in LinkedIn Sales Navigator Inbox
Use AGNURA Write Reply in LinkedIn Sales Navigator inbox: load header and InMail thread, steer with What I want to say, review, insert into the textarea, and send yourself.
You will be able to draft a Sales Navigator inbox reply from the open conversation’s header and InMail/message thread, review it, insert it into the compose box, and send it yourself.
AGNURA AI Assistant treats Sales Navigator as a separate feature from classic LinkedIn Messaging. On /sales/inbox/..., a dedicated content script injects Voice to Text and an AGNURA AI menu (Write Reply, Rewrite Message, Select Template). It never sends InMail for you.

Prerequisites
- Desktop Chrome, signed into LinkedIn / Sales Navigator in the same profile as AGNURA
- AGNURA installed; Activate LinkedIn on (Settings → General)
- Signed in to AGNURA with AI credits remaining
- Non-empty LinkedIn reply prompt (Settings → LinkedIn Prompts)
- Optional: Knowledge base in General settings
- A Sales Navigator conversation open with the compose textarea visible (
Type your message here…)
Refresh the Sales Navigator tab after changing Activate LinkedIn if the controls do not appear.
Direct answer
- Open a conversation in Sales Navigator inbox.
- Click the AGNURA AI icon on the left of the compose actions bar → Write Reply.
- Confirm Recipient profile (name/headline from the thread header) and Conversation thread loaded.
- Optional: fill What I want to say.
- Click Generate, edit the result, then Insert into message.
- Review in the Sales Nav textarea and click Send yourself.
Exact steps
1. Open Sales Navigator compose
- Go to LinkedIn Sales Navigator inbox (
linkedin.com/sales/inbox/...or an equivalent/sales/conversation URL). - Open the thread so the compose field and Send button are visible.
- Confirm the left side of the actions bar shows the Voice to Text mic and the AGNURA AI logo (before Attach / Send).
If those controls are missing: confirm you are on a /sales/ URL, Activate LinkedIn is on, and the tab was refreshed after install. See AGNURA Not Showing or Not Generating.
Expected result: AGNURA controls appear on the Sales Nav actions bar.
2. Open Write Reply
- Click the AGNURA AI icon.
- Choose Write Reply.
- Wait for the modal fields to populate.
Nothing is sent to managed AI until you click Generate inside the modal.
3. Confirm header and thread context
| Field | Role on Sales Nav |
|---|---|
| Reply prompt | Standing instructions from LinkedIn Prompts |
| Recipient profile | Name and headline from the thread header (lead URL when present) |
| Conversation thread | InMail / message articles from the open conversation |
| What I want to say | Optional one-run angle for this reply |
Sales Nav profile context is thinner than classic Messaging. This script does not open classic /in/ profile pages for Voyager enrichment. Edit the profile or thread fields if something important is missing.
Expected result: Enough context to generate, or you have edited the fields yourself.
4. Generate, insert, send
- Click Generate.
- Edit the Generated message.
- Click Insert into message (or Copy).
- Review the text in the Sales Nav textarea.
- Click LinkedIn’s Send yourself.
What the AI receives
Managed AI receives (sent to app.agnura.com; 1 credit):
- Your LinkedIn reply prompt
- Optional What I want to say
- Shared knowledge base (if set)
- Recipient header summary
- Conversation thread (or empty for a new chat)
It does not get your full Sales Navigator CRM, lead lists, or account notes outside the open thread UI.
Common mistakes
| Mistake | Fix |
|---|---|
Looking for classic Messaging footer buttons on /sales/ | Use the Sales Nav AGNURA menu on the actions bar |
Expecting full /in/ About/Experience enrichment | SN Write Reply uses header + thread; open classic Messaging or a profile for deeper context |
| Using Rewrite when you need thread context | Rewrite is draft-only; use Write Reply for thread-aware drafts |
| Assuming AGNURA sends InMail | Insert only; you click Send |
Checklist
- You are on a Sales Navigator conversation with compose open
- Activate LinkedIn is on; AGNURA controls show on the left of the actions bar
- Reply prompt and AGNURA credits are saved
- You reviewed profile/thread (or edited them) before Generate
- You will click Sales Nav Send yourself
How this relates to AGNURA
| Capability | AGNURA on Sales Nav |
|---|---|
| Write Reply from open InMail thread | Yes |
| Separate script from classic Messaging | Yes (linkedin-sales-nav-compose.js) |
| Auto-send InMail | No |
Full Voyager /in/ redirect from SN script | No |
| Differentiation | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Human insert/send | You stay accountable for outreach |
| Surface-specific injection | Sales Nav DOM differs from classic Messaging; separate code avoids breaking either |
