AGNURA AI Credits and Pro: Cost, Control, and Risk

Managed AI credits mean AGNURA runs the model for you when you are signed in. You do not paste a personal OpenAI API key. Free accounts get a one-time credit allotment. Pro is a monthly Stripe subscription that grants a fresh credit lot each period (unused credits expire; no rollover).

Why credits exist

Credits make onboarding simpler than BYOK:

• No personal OpenAI account or key paste required
• Predictable Pro allotment per month (Admin can change price/amount in AppConfig)
• Abuse and spend are controlled on AGNURA’s side

Trade-offs:

• You depend on AGNURA’s uptime and provider
• Free credits do not refill monthly
• Pro unused credits expire at period end

Cost control checklist

1. Watch balance in Settings → Stats or the app Dashboard.
2. Upgrade only when free credits are gone and you need volume.
3. Cancel anytime via Cancel or update payment on /billing (typically cancels at period end).
4. Review Refund & Billing Policy for double-charge help.
5. Keep prompts tight so you do not burn credits on retries.

Control and privacy

What you control:

• When AI runs (every Generate/Rewrite click)
• Prompt text and knowledge base content
• Final send/publish in Gmail, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Reddit

What leaves the browser on AI click:

• Prompt + feature context → app.agnura.com → OpenRouter

What stays local by default:

• Website analysis caches, Apollo rows, on-page draft buffers
