AGNURA Privacy in Plain Language

What AGNURA stores on your device, what syncs to your account, what leaves when you use managed AI or Add Lead, and what the extension does not do.

You should know where your data goes before you install an extension that reads the page you are on.

AGNURA AI Assistant keeps research caches and Apollo rows on your device. When you sign in, prompts and settings can sync to app.agnura.com. When you use AI writing features, your browser calls AGNURA managed AI (/api/ai-complete), which uses OpenRouter on the server. When you click Add Lead, analysis JSON can go to the webhook URL you configured.

This guide is the plain-language privacy summary. For legal wording, read the site Privacy Policy, Terms, and Refund Policy. Product overview: What Is AGNURA?.

Prerequisites

  • Chrome (or a Chromium browser that supports the Web Store listing)
  • Willingness to open Settings after install
  • Optional: AGNURA sign-in if you plan to use AI
  • Optional: a webhook URL only if you plan to use Add Lead

What stays on your device

Typical local items include:

  • Website analysis results and short-lived caches
  • Apollo company rows you scrape
  • On-page draft buffers
  • Local copies of settings (also synced when signed in)

Clearing extension data or removing the extension removes local stores under Chrome’s normal rules.

Voice to Text does not store audio in extension storage. Speak selected text does not store the highlight.

What syncs when you sign in

  • Account email / profile
  • Prompts, templates, and non-secret general settings
  • Credit balances and usage metadata on the server
  • Billing identifiers (Stripe customer / subscription status) — not full card numbers

What leaves your browser (only when you start it)

Managed AI

When you generate or rewrite, the extension sends prompts and feature context to app.agnura.com. The server consumes 1 credit and calls OpenRouter. No personal OpenAI API key is stored in Settings.

Target websites and public URLs

Website analysis may request same-origin paths, sitemaps, Archive.org hints, and public RSS when you use those actions.

Add Lead webhook

Add Lead posts analysis JSON to the webhook URL you saved, only when you click it and conditions are met.

What AGNURA does not do

  • Auto-send email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Reddit posts
  • Upload full browsing history on a timer
  • Claim Generate/Rewrite is “fully local AI”
  • Store your payment card (Stripe does)

How to reduce what you share

  1. Stay signed out if you only need analysis / SEO / Apollo CSV (no AI).
  2. Leave channel activation off until you need that site.
  3. Leave Speak selected text off if you do not want selection speech.
  4. Do not paste secrets into the knowledge base or prompts.
  5. Do not configure a webhook you do not trust.
  6. Clear local data on shared machines when finished.
  7. Manage Pro on app.agnura.com/billing.

Common questions

Do I need a personal OpenAI key?
No. Sign in and use AGNURA credits (free allotment or Pro).

Does website analysis send the page to AI automatically?
No. Analysis and the SEO audit are rules-based. Managed AI runs when you start a generate/rewrite action.

Does Add Lead send every analysis somewhere?
Only when you click Add Lead and conditions are met, to your webhook.

Can I use AGNURA without AI?
Yes for analysis, SEO export, templates, Apollo CSV, and manual compose. AI needs sign-in and credits.
